BCSPL Transition Plan - Birth Year 2000 Boys & Girls

EA Sports BC Soccer Premier League Player Evaluation for players born 2000 Questions & Answers [Read More]

As the highest level of youth soccer in the Province of BC, the EA Sports BC Soccer Premier League (BCSPL) offers every player the opportunity to participate in an environment, which is conducive to producing the Elite player.

With additional program support and scouting from the BC Soccer, CSA National Training Centre West (NTC) and Professional Club partner - Vancouver Whitecaps FC, the players are constantly placed ‘in the shop window’ for additional elite/professional opportunities…

As one of only eight Franchises, which operate within the BCSPL, Magnuson Ford Mariners FC and its
supporting partner clubs - Langley FC, Chilliwack FC & Aldergrove Youth SC (who will provide staff coaches to the selection committee) are very proud to be entrusted with providing the players with the necessary ‘gateway’ to the next level.

Following the over-riding principles of the CSA Long-Term Player Development (LTPD) this two phased Transition Plan, sets out our considerations for the players of the 2000 birth year, who are interested in attaining a position within the Magnuson Ford Mariners FC, U13 BCSPL Team Program (Boys & Girls), for the 2013 Season.

Throughout the current playing season of 2011/12, our staff and supporting partner club personnel have been evaluating and assessing many players within their current team environment at games and in training.

Due to this scouting process, it has become apparent that some players have demonstrated a consistent level of performance, which has resulted in some players receiving an invitation to attend the finale of the evaluation process, the Team Formation session. However, it should be understood that the invitation alone does not guarantee selection to the U13 BCSPL team and as such the Team Formation session is the ultimate Evaluation. [Read More]

Open evaluations for the boys are now closed. Any boy wishing to seek an invitation to the final session please complete the form below.
